Labour Members Together is a grassroots group of Labour Party members from Brighton, Hove and the surrounding area. We are concerned with recent developments within the Party, and hope to reassert Labour's credentials as a positive force for progressive politics by:
Promoting the principle of an open, welcoming broad church Labour Party, in which members treat one another with respect.
Campaigning for decisive action to tackle and eradicate antisemitism in the Labour Party both locally and nationally.
Advocating for the Labour Party to adopt unambiguous support for a confirmatory vote, backing remain therein.
We undertake to ensure all of our campaigns and interventions will be underpinned by a commitment to pluralism within the Labour family, welcoming all members irrespective of the different traditions from which they come, as well as a commitment to democracy within the Party, and an unwavering dedication to working towards a Labour government. In addition to this, the LMT group believes all Labour policy on antisemitism must reflect the language and the spirit of the IHRA definition of antisemitism in full, including its constituent examples.
